PhotoHunt 262: Dusty

PhotoHunters

The theme this week is dusty.
This was a sandstorm in Baghdad on March 3rd of this year.
Obviously, I'm not in Baghdad but I have friends serving over there.
Keep them in your prayers. I was told these are HORRIBLE to deal with.

Themes are on the sidebar thru June. I will add more...

Sandstorms are not nice. We've been in a sort-like sandstorm before which I talked about it my post here:

There are occasional sandstorms in Sevilla when it rains sand and dust.

Today I'm just being honest...

I think of the people who have little choice but to live in Bagdad -- be it during a sandstorm or not, in times of war or not, etc. :S

My not so stormy take on the theme is here:-

It makes for a nice photo, though.

My contribution this week is the result of foul play. Investigations are ongoing.

A sandstorm is the last thing I think of in reference to Baghdad these days.

The dust gives the scene a nice haze but I'm sure it's unpleasant to experience.

Happy Earth Day! Thanks for putting some new themes up, TNChick.

Nice photo but I don't want to get caught in a sandstorm.

We had a bit of "fun" the other week.

Dusty indeed! The sand storms can be wicked in that part of the world. My dusty is closer to home.

I'll bet that road would look gorgeous on a clear (non-dusty) day! That line of trees looks so beautiful.
